Words of Khatami in the comming book


For a long time I had no time and opportunity to write about the book project, here. Though I was active to manage relevant things for it. I am grateful to share here that Seyed Mohammad Khatami, the former president of Iran (1997-2005), send a foreword for my book. I have to of course translate the text to English. The text is very nice and poetic written in Farsi. I am really happy that he trusted me and lets his word comes at the beginning of the book. 
his text is short and at the end of the text I see his presonal greetings to me, in his own handwriting. I hope the book reflects interesting points. then that would be a good combination of analysis on dialogue and words of somebody who tried to extend the dialogue culture in the Iranian society a decade ago.

The book "Does Intercultural Dialogue matter?" is on his way

The book is finally published. I talked to the publisher yesterday. He told me that is sent to me on Monday (20.5). it can arrive any minute today. I cant wait seeing "Does Intercultural Dialogue Matter?".  It has been almost one year not writing here. I concentrated on finishing it and writing it up. A very good friend of mine, who is a nobel and strict English editor, helped me a lot. I sent the book at the beginning of March 2019 to the LIT publishing center. It took yes tooooooooooooooo long. Because somebody in charge of designing the book, in LIT, was ill and then unfortunately a bit disordered and improper to make her job done. But lets not complain. Not anymore. The book is on his way.

The First Step- the "Does Intercultural Dialogue matter" is borning

This is a start to write a short version book of my PhD dissertation.  I am going to use this weblog as a platform for informing my friends and my future book marketing launch team about the progress of the work and recieve their ideas. I started my PhD in 2012 in Duisburg-Essen University, in Germany. However for some personal reasons I changed my supervisor in 2013. He is a professor in Augsburg university, in city of Augsburg, which is located in south of Germany. I finished my PhD in early 2018. Yes, it took me at least six years. My dissertation is about intercultural dialogue between Western and Muslim countries. My case study is Iran and Germany. I have analyzed the cultural activities between the two countries; those which were implemented between 1998 and 2013. More specifically I worked on activities which were implemented under the discourse of intercultural dialogue in Iran and Germany. so every type of cultural activities is not included in my cases study....
