Does Intercultural Dialogue matter?

The book is finally published. I talked to the publisher yesterday. He told me that is sent to me on Monday (20.5). it can arrive any minute today. I cant wait seeing "Does Intercultural Dialogue Matter?".  It has been almost one year not writing here. I concentrated on finishing it and writing it up. A very good friend of mine, who is a nobel and strict English editor, helped me a lot. I sent the book at the beginning of March 2019 to the LIT publishing center. It took yes tooooooooooooooo long. Because somebody in charge of designing the book, in LIT, was ill and then unfortunately a bit disordered and improper to make her job done. But lets not complain. Not anymore. The book is on his way.

I finished chapter 3 and started the next chapter. It is strange. Turning my dissertation to a book is full of surprises to me. For instance I realized that how much nonsense I have written in the thesis! Too long, too details, too blah blah! Is that just me or anybody else has the same experience! I mean why I used so many facts and info for simple points. This chapter, 4, is on actors of intercultural dialogue in Iran and Germany and specific discourses.  I have specifically worked on “interfaith dialogue” and “dialogue among civilizations” in Iranian side. In Germany the discourse of “European-Islamic cultural dialogue” has been prominent. The chapter besides presenting details on these discourses discusses the actors. For instance DAAD has been one of the German actors. In foreign cultural policy of Germany academic exchanges have attracted a high attention of elites and policy makers. Today i stayed at home and work from here. The temperature of the weather was above 32 degree. I actually was satisfied with the progress of my work. I have finished chapter 2 for now and started chapter 3. Resizing chapter 3 is going to be tough. 69 pages have to be shorten to 35 pages. I have also a crisis situation. I decided to move a subchapter of chapter 2 to 3. Thus I have to deal with the argument and analysis of 3 according to the new structure. But actually I am happy now with the chapter 2 and 3. I thought I will work intensively to finish my chapter 2, and then I go to chapter 3. But then I decided to go one time through whole the book and shorten it; and then return to the first point and deeply work on the chapters.  Chapter 3 goes to foreign cultural policy of Iran and Germany.
