The book "Does Intercultural Dialogue matter?" is on his way

The book is finally published. I talked to the publisher yesterday. He told me that is sent to me on Monday (20.5). it can arrive any minute today. I cant wait seeing "Does Intercultural Dialogue Matter?".  It has been almost one year not writing here. I concentrated on finishing it and writing it up. A very good friend of mine, who is a nobel and strict English editor, helped me a lot. I sent the book at the beginning of March 2019 to the LIT publishing center. It took yes tooooooooooooooo long. Because somebody in charge of designing the book, in LIT, was ill and then unfortunately a bit disordered and improper to make her job done. But lets not complain. Not anymore. The book is on his way.

Weimar and taking Photo for the book

Working on the book faced a break because of the participation in a seminar on "Iran and Media". I ll continue working on the book from tomorrow. 9.Hafis-Dialog was organized by the foundation of Konrad Adenauer. get more info here. The seminar was taken palace in Weimar. That is why I used the opportunity to make some photos from the Denkmal of Hafis-Goethe there. I am going to use the photo for the front page of the book.

Receiving a positive Answer regarding the Foreword of the Book

I have 74 days time to send the book off to the publisher. I received a good news two nights ago. A German Professor who also has executive experiences in field of German foreign cultural policy has accepted to write a forward for my book. I am still waiting for an answer from an Iranian figure to accept to write the second forward. I am writing the first section of chapter 4, which is on Iranian intercultural dialogue discourses and actors. I have just checked the content regarding to the Iranian discourses. I deleted some parts. Too many words ..blah blah..   During reading the text I can not resist thinking about the interviews with the Iranian participates of the study, in hot summers of 2013 and 2015. Sweet and bitter memories. I feel that, meanwhile, I grew up. If I have had the experiences of today, I would have asked different questions in the interviews, I would been sharper, quicker, I would have spent less time for each appointment…. Hopefully next time, ...
